About this painting:

This portrait was commissioned by Linda Hoff, with framing sponsored by Jill Matson, as a surprise gift for Tom and Kate Jones after the loss of their beloved cat Batman (known in former homes as Midnight). Batman was a cat with a huge heart who suffered many setbacks in his life. He passed through the loving hands of helping angels Linda Hoff, Cheri McNealy, and Jill Matson and crossed a contitnent to finally find his "forever home" with Tom and Kate. The unusual pose in this portrait is "a classic Batman pose".

Thank you so much for putting such thought into your work. I REALLY appreciate your effort, not to mention your amazing talent. I will keep your information on file for future reference as I would love to see what you could do with my dogs."
